CJK Font Support
Learn how we perfectly support Chinese, Japanese, and Korean font rendering
CJK stands for Chinese, Japanese, Korean - the three East Asian languages that use Chinese characters or their derivatives. Due to the massive CJK character set (containing tens of thousands of characters), correctly rendering these characters has always been a challenge for document processing tools.
Why Do Other Tools Often Fail?
Many online Markdown to PDF tools display 'tofu blocks' (square characters) or garbled text when processing CJK text. This is because they rely on system default fonts or only embed basic Western fonts. When encountering CJK characters without corresponding glyphs, they display as squares or question marks.
