Our Origin
MarkPDF was born from a simple pain point: as a developer who frequently handles Chinese technical documentation, I always encountered the problem of Chinese characters displaying as squares when using various online Markdown to PDF tools. This seemingly small issue seriously affected work efficiency. So I decided to create a Markdown to PDF tool that could truly handle CJK text perfectly.
Our Mission
To enable every East Asian language user to easily create beautiful PDF documents. We believe language should not be a barrier to tool usage. Whether you use Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, you should get the same quality experience.
Vision
To become the most popular Markdown to PDF tool in East Asia. We don't pursue being big and comprehensive, but focus on doing 'CJK font support' extremely well.
